Dal Chawal Recipe



Ingredients.


Split Red Lentil                Masoor dal   half cup (soak in water)
Split Green gram Moong dal   half cup  (soak in water)
Rice    2 cup              (soak in Water)
Red whole chilies 2-3
Cumin 1 tsp
Bay leave 2
Green chilies 2
Curry leave 4-5
Garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp
Oil 1/2 cup  
Salt 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric  1/2 tsp

Method


First add 1 ltr water in pan ,add both lentil  with  1/2 tsp salt ,red chili powder and turmeric .
Now add 3 tbsp off oil in pan for rice  then add cumin 1/4 tsp, buy leave and green chilies ,fry for few second then add 4 cup of water and 1 tsp salt. bring to boil.
Now add soak rice and cook until water reduce ,then cook on slow flame for more 10 mints.
Rice is ready now.
For dal tarka add oil in pan add garlic ,curry leave,red chili and cumin fry for few second then pour on ready dal .
Dal chawal is ready to serve .
