Chicken Biryani Recipe


Ingredients.

Chicken 1 kg
Basmati rice 750 gm
Potatoes 100 gm
Fried onion 1 cup
Tomatoes  3-4
raw tomatoes 3
green chilies 6-7
salt 4 tbsp
whole spices crush 2 tbsp
whole spice powder 1 tsp
red chili powder 1 tsp
turmeric 1/2 tsp 
coriander powder 1 tsp
tamarind  soak in water 1 cup
yogurt 1 cup
food color 1/4 tsp
fresh mint 1 cup
fresh coriander 1 cup
oil 1 cup
ghee 4 tbsp
ginger garlic paste 4 tbsp

Method


First marinate the chicken with red chili powder ,turmeric,1 tsp salt,gram masala powder ,coriander ,ginger garlic paste,ghee and  tamarind. Leave for 5 hour.
Soak the rice in water and boil with salt.
Now add oil in pan and add crush gram masala green chilies and tomatoes cook until tomatoes soft .
Add marinate chicken in pan with potatoes and fried onion cook until chicken and potatoes done.
In the last add food color in yogurt and mix in cook chicken and turn off the flame ,Chicken masala is ready now.
Now make layer of chicken masala and rice with coriander ,mint ,fried onion and raw sliced tomatoes.
Cook for 10 mints more in low flame.
Delicious chicken biryani is ready to serve.
