How To Make Spinach Chicken Recipe / Palak  Chicken Recipe Pakistani

 Enjoyed weekend with this special food recipe with the whole family, we can’t miss the yummy and tasty Palak chicken recipe Pakistani and this was going to be delicuos  weekend. This recipe is not restaurant version of loaded with heavy cream, but I do to give that creamy texture and avoid tons of unwanted calories I use  spices and tricks to this dish .This is best accompanied with Chapati or Plain Paratha or Naan,even we can serve with rice also .The dish is loaded with greens like Spinach but we  can add other varieties of saags .

Ingredients

Spinach – 1 bunch
Chicken – 500gm
Onion – 1 whole big finely chopped
Tomato – 1 medium sized finely chopped
Ginger – 1 inch
Garlic – 4-6 big cloves
Green chillies – 2
Peppercorns – 2-3
Coriander powder – 1teaspoon
Red chilli powder   1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1teaspoon
Turmeric Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
gram masala
 Oil- 1 1/2 cup

Method

Blanch the Spinach Heat water in a pan till it comes to a boil.
Add cleaned spinach in the boiling water and let it boil for 2-3 mins.
Then drain the water and add the spinach leaves to the ice cold water.
Heat a wide bottomed pan, add the oil.
 Add the onions and saute it till its golden brown.
In the mean time, grind the blanched spinach 
Once the onions are fried well add the ginger garlic and sute for few second.
Add chicken and sute well.
 Now add dry spices and tomatoes, cook till the oil oozes out.
Add the spinach puree and cook for 5-7 mins, till all the raw flavor goes off.
Add a gram masala powder  and green and cook for 2-3 mins.
In the last heat oil in another pan for tarka add peppercorn and cumin fry for 1 mint alow to popup and pour into plak chicken.
palak chicken is ready to serve.
