Imli Ki Khathi Meethi Chatni / Tamarind Chutney / Sweet Tamarind Chutney
The recipe here seems authentic and unique . Loved the taste of Imli ki Meethi chatni.I like Imli ki Meethi Chatni more than the Khati one. Just few ingredients are required for this. Make this Imli ki meethi chatni for serving with Pakoras and samosas.Imli Meethi Chatni is good and very useful to serve with pakora, french fries as well I also like to serve it with samosay because it gives sweet and sour taste which I really like and wants to eat. I preserve it in the jar.
Nothing can be better than having Imli Ki Meethi Chatni on your Iftar table .Immli ki chutni with pakora is the most famous dish, specially in the ramadan every one make this chutni with pakora.
Ingredients
Tamarind 50 gm
Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli flakes 1/4 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Jaagri 20 gm
Method
Put a little water in tamarind and soak in water for for 3-4 hour
Squeeze all the pulp, in the remaining tamarind again add a little water and squeeze again so as to get all of the tamarind pulp.
Put cumin seeds,jaggri,ginger powder and tamarind pulp in pan .
add seasoning in pan.
Bring to boil , when bubbles start rising pour it in the serving bowl.
It will become thicker once cooled down.
